Over a twelve month period in 2012 - 2013, Retriever performed a comprehensive review of the waste and recycling services at a multi-national retail chain in the United States and Canada. The objective of Retriever's analysis was threefold: 1) to ensure that each location was receiving customized waste and recycling services proportional to its needs, 2) to achieve the most competitive rates available, and 3) to drive revenue generation from recyclable commodities.

Upon completion of its evaluation and competitive bid process, Retriever captured over $505,000 in annual savings across 370 locations for the multi-national chain, resulting in a 25.77% reduction in its solid waste and recycling costs. The individual attention to each location enabled Retriever to arrange optimal waste and recycling programs for every store.
